as long time owner of qx80 , I would expect the upcoming model to address the following: - double check the fuel pump and allow us to use 91 or 89 octane gas - a common two issues is overheating when stuck in traffic for a long time and poor a/c cooling . - with current model the air suspension can't sustain any heavy load for long time

Looks great & love the interior ! - Just make sure the real live quality is top level ( like nissan used to be before Renault influence !!)

How about just take the 03-08 fx45 and make a commercial like this, yet show the fx45 with an updated interior to see how the public reacts.

Bummer you guys threw out the 03-08 fx35/45 at a time when every other brand is capitalizing on the design. Toyota, mazda, lexus, genisis, chevy, buick all coming out with variations of that vehicle. Just bring back fx35/45 with an updated interior. If the engine/trans were the same as 03-08 version you would already have a top of the line product in terms of reliability and people wouldnt have to gamble with other new makes from competing brands. Im starting to wonder if the only reason the fx class declined in sales was due to the silly melty dash because if you offer a vehicle that looks better, sounds better, and is more reliable than similar line-ups theres not much reason for people to buy anything else. I also dont think the iterations applied to post 08 fx35 hit the spot. Reliability went down and the look wasn't as good to me. Just bring back the older version with an updated interior.

I like the Infiniti QX60 because it’s a midsize SUV and it has a 9 speed automatic transmission.

I think they should keep the QX55 body and just change the engine and interior. This would sell like hotcakes... the best looking small SUV out there IMO.

I guess the new fx35/45 is called the gv80 and it's made by Genesis. It's just doesn't sound as nice and the taillights aren't as cool.

Wow Infiniti dropped the ball horribly. Why would a sane CEO discontinue reliable, gorgeous, powerful FX37 and QX70 and replace them with horrible design and a notoriously unreliable and weak CVT with a shitty engine?! I miss Infiniti and it's glorious days. I still drive my G37 and hope someday Infinity builds a true and deserving successor. Unfortunately rumor has it that Infiniti will be no more than a top trim for cheap and crappy Nissan models in near future 😢

I don't get how you can claim the 2003-2009 fx 35-45. "Lives on through through other vehicles" you took all the good stuff away. 4 cylinders don't belong in the revamped versions. Just revamp the 03-09 fx 35/45 interior and bring them back. The new stuff is garbage in comparison. It only looks okay. Doesn't sound good and not fun to drive.

BUT can we open the back glass alone? When you discontinued this feature it was infuriating. After owning 5, this is one of the most missed features. As a woman, being able to open just the glass and throw a bag in, or when needed for hauling longer loads and not being able to was beyond frustrating

Escalade is awesome, but the quality of material and assembly seems to be higher on Infiniti QX80...
